William Saliba: injury update at Marseille.

As we await the return of William Saliba, it's clear that the French club has been cautious in its approach to his recovery from a serious knee injury.

The defender has been out for several months and is still recovering from surgery on his right knee ligament. The latest update suggests that he may not be able to make a full recovery until next year, which means that he will likely miss much of the 2021-22 season.

Despite this setback, Marseille is hopeful that Saliba can make a full recovery and return to form. They have invested heavily in him, including signing him from Arsenal for a reported fee of £55 million ($68 million) last summer.

However,Saudi Pro League Highlights it remains to be seen whether he will be ready for the start of the new season, or if he will need further time off before returning to action. For now, it seems that Marseille will have to rely on their other defenders, such as Kalidou Koulibaly and Mamadou Sakho, to fill in for Saliba while he recovers.
